A printable reading tracker in soft purple: lines for the month and the book you are reading, a choice of pages or minutes, 31 numbered day boxes and a total box, and a list of books finished with five stars each to color, with hand-drawn stickers of a reader.

Print at actual size: the sheet has its own margins.

How to use it.

  1. Pick pages or minutes

Tick one at the top. Minutes are kinder for slow or heavy books; pages feel good when you are deep in a story.

  2. Write today's number

After you read, write the pages or minutes in the day's box. A day you did not read stays blank.

  3. Add a book when you finish it

Write its title and the day you finished, and color in the stars you would give it.

  4. Add up the month

Write the month's total in the last box. Then decide if a small goal, like 10 pages a day, feels right for next month.

Small reading goals.

GoalHow oftenWhen
Read 10 pages Every dayEvening
Read before bed Every dayBefore bed
Read for 20 minutes Every dayAnytime
A chapter on the way WeekdaysMorning
A slow weekend read Once a weekMorning

Make it stick.

  • Leave the book where you sit

Put it on your pillow or next to the kettle, so it is there before your phone is.

  • Make the goal tiny

Two pages count. Most days you will read more once you start. More ideas like this are on our learning habit ideas page.

  • Try it for 30 days

The 30-day reading challenge gives you one small step a day.

Or let your phone add it up.

Cozy can track an amount: set Read to 10 pages or 20 minutes a day, log what you read, and see its streak and calendar grow.

Questions people ask.

Should I track pages or minutes?

Minutes are fairer when your books differ in size, or for audiobooks. Pages feel good when you are deep in one book. Pick one and keep it for the month.

How many pages a day should I read?

Start small, like 10 pages or 10 minutes. It is easy to keep on a busy day, and a small habit you keep beats a big one you drop.

Does it work for audiobooks?

Yes. Count audiobooks in minutes and write them in the same boxes.
